Nobody Will Guess What Happens In Avengers: Endgame, Robert Downey Jr. Says

Wait, have we only been waiting a year for the epic cliffhanger that started with Avengers: Infinity War? I don't know about you, but I would have sworn its been longer. Plot twist(?): This is Quantum Realms world and were just living in it. This impatience Marvel fans collectively feel is probably because Avengers: Endgame has easily become one of the most heavily anticipated movies in the history of film. The movie does follow over a decade of build-up and follows 21 other films starring these characters.

The event film has fans guessing left and right about what exactly will happen and getting real creative too. Have you heard the viral one in which Ant-Man apparently crawls up Thanos butt to explode him from the inside out? Good stuff. With so many theories, youd think some fans have actually already guessed what will happen by the time Endgame closes. Not according to the cast. Heres what Robert Downey Jr. had to say:

I guarantee you there is no way anybody could guess what's going to happen.

Okay, RDJ! Have a little faith in us! We must have guessed at least some of what goes down in the culmination by now. One popular theory suggests the remaining Avengers will decide to travel back in time via the Quantum Realm in order to reverse the damage Thanos has done. Its the most logical alternative! Maybe we have it all wrong, though? More of the Avengers have weighed in on the unpredictable and grand spectacle awaiting fans with Endgame.

As if the anticipation isnt high already, these are some crazy huge statements from the main Avengers, who seem confident fans will be impressed and surprised with the outcome. Given all thats resting on this particular MCU installment, I would be personally very extremely impressed and a little shocked if Endgame delivers on completely throwing audiences for a loop on this one -- after all this hype -- but they have pulled it off before.

Simon Pegg Clears Up Some Of Those Star Trek And Quentin Tarantino Rumors

There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks about the possibility of Quentin Tarantino writing a Star Trek movie. Now, the man who wrote the last one explains what's really going on. Simon Pegg was the co-writer of Star Trek: Beyond and he's a man who has been intimately involved in the J.J. Abrams-produced franchise. Recently, the writer/actor was asked about the rumor that Tarantino has already written a potentially R-rated Star Trek script. According to Pegg, it doesn't seem there is an actual script at this point, but he did confirm that Tarantino has apparently met with J.J. Abrams to discuss the possibility of being involved in the next film. According to Pegg...

I don't think he's written an R-rated Star Trek script. I think what happened is he went to J.J. with an idea that he's had for awhile. I remember he told us about it a long time ago. I think he told me and Edgar about it a long time ago. He just put it to J.J. and I think J.J.'s just considering putting it into a writing room. We got an email just saying, 'Guess what? Guess who came into the office the other day?' So, I don't know much about it other than it's in the mix, so we'll see.

So while no decision has apparently been made on Star Trek 4, it does appear that Quentin Tarantino's idea for a story is currently in the running. Simon Pegg tells HeyUGuys that the possibility is real, but the rumors that there's already a script, and that it's an R-rated story, are not entirely accurate.

Quentin Tarantino has made no secret of the fact that's a huge fan of original Star Trek and he's talked about his potential ideas for a film as well as his potential willingness to direct one.

What's interesting is that, while we had no specific information about plans to write or produce another Star Trek movie, J.J. Abrams had spoken about an idea for one, a film that would actually see the return of Chris Hemsworth from the first reboot film, as George Kirk, the father of Chris Pine's Captain. It would seem likely that this idea isn't part of Quentin Tarantino's idea for a movie, so Abrams would need to choose which one he wanted to go with. If he does end up using Tarantino's idea, then the George Kirk plan either gets scrapped, or at the very least postponed, to a potential fifth movie.
